30 year old woman in Los Angeles interested in a man

Just like most everyone else out there, I have difficulty describing myself. I know what and who I want to be, but that doesn't always mean that's what happens. So, I'm going with a simple list (in no particular order) of things I do and don't enjoy...

Things I like: The feel of soft sand between my toes, flip flops, big baggy sweatshirts stolen from boyfriends, iPod playlists tailored to my mood, sarcasm (I've been told I'm snarky, but in a good way), learning new things (currently working on rock-climbing), graveyard shifts at work, late season snowboarding (still learning that too-its a slow process), midnight snowshoeing, rainy days on the couch reading a book, baseball caps and jeans with holes, movies that make me laugh until I cry and my stomach hurts, hikes with my hyperactive yellow lab, late-night drinks and conversation with friends, finishing a project around the house (rounding off year one in my first home), finding and naming "new" constellations (I can only find two of the actual ones), relaxing naps by the pool, finding silly shapes in clouds, my job (A ticket to the greatest show on earth), late night picnics, barbecues with family and friends throwing the football around until its too dark to see any more, creating pencil drawings and teaching myself to paint, camping trips with friends, cooking for family and friends (I bake a mean anything), lazy days with the girls getting pedicures, learning and re-learning (repetitively) how to two-step and line dance, days at the range with my dad, my newest achievement- a vegetable garden, a long hot bath with a glass of wine and Billie Holiday, and most recently lessons in knife safety (LONG story, stick around, maybe you'll get to hear it).

Dislikes: Doing dishes, folding laundry, mowing the lawn, drug users, smoking, cocky and disrespectful people, close mindedness, turning on the radio to hear the last five seconds of a really good song, late night infomercials, horrible spelling or grammar (mom was an English buff), the last half hour before a shift at work ends (you never know what will happen), being called into work on a day off, and I'm sure there are others, but I generally try to think about the positives...

What I'm looking for: simply put- a good man. Attraction is important, but not the only thing that matters, steady employment, ambition, chivalrous but still OK with a strong woman, responsibility, LOYALTY, someone who is generally put together in all aspects of their life, caring, understanding, active and adventurous, fun and able to be comfortable in jeans at a ball game or dressed up at the theater.

Other things of note: I'm looking for someone to relax and just have fun with. I work long hours in a stressful and sometimes dangerous job, and I need someone who can understand and be comfortable with that. If it turns into a relationship-that's great, but I'm just as comfortable finding a few new friends. If that's all something you can handle, don't hesitate to give me a shout. You never know what could happen...
