I have looked at other posts before but have never actually posted something myself. I am pretty much a hopeless romantic but not too hopeless. I have a pretty open mind and extremely friendly and kind. I am very generous and love giving to others I care for. I love taking care of the people close in my life. I also like to make people feel special especially women I take the time to date because the fact is you are special if I want to get to know you because I am very picky. I have been single for a while and it was fun but loneliness eventually gets the best of us. I don't and will not settle. I might be lonely but I am not desperate.

Here are some basics:

-5'10"
-Dark skin, dark brown hair, blue eyes. Not to sound arrogant but everyone seems to love my eyes a lot.
-Average build
- Have one more year and I will have my bachelors from Wayne State
-I have my own place/car/ job as well.
-I have no children. I might want children down the road but who knows when in my life this will happen?
-I don't smoke but don't care if anyone around me does.
-My sense of humor can be wild but still mature and semi-respectful. I just love making people laugh but not about something stupid, but really just laugh.

-I love to travel, read, hang out with friends. I am open for anything really. I love taking someone out on the town and finding something fun to do. Just as much do I love hanging out with my friends. Sometimes I don't mind a long stimulating conversation or kicking back watching a movie. I really have so many interests and am open to so much. However I am not really into many sports except for boxing. I still like going to a game sometimes when some of my friends go because it is still fun. I love nature and the outdoors. From hiking, white water rafting, canoeing, the beach, long walks, scuba diving etc. I love movies and music and go to lots of shows/concerts. I love all kinds of movies including foreign, older, and independent films. I love all kinds of music except I am not into country. Sometimes I like to dress up too and do something special. If you get to know me I am a pretty laid back, drama free, trustworthy, and kind man.

What I am looking for:

-The most important quality is that you are nice and make an effort to be a kind person
-someone who is trustworthy
-someone who has an open mind about things and is curious about the world and loves to learn
-physical attraction is important so I am looking for someone that is considered at least cute
- I am not a smoker but do not care if you are it doesn't bother me at all
-someone who enjoys adventures and good times
-someone who likes to talk about just anything and likes to be mentally stimulated
-I don't mind if you have a child or children. In fact I dated a woman once with a child, Her son, her and I had a lot of fun times together.
-someone who tries to be drama free
-Age isn't too important but I do prefer women older than myself usually. 19 is the youngest I would date and that is kind of pushing it. However like I said try to keep my mind open.
someone who wants to take things slow and date first but has the desire for a long term relationship with the right guy.
