How to say NO nicely?

I had an arranged date with a man this last weekend that I am not interested in seeing again, for a few well considered reasons.
He was a nice man, not very talkative, but genuinely nice.

What do I say about subsequent dates he suggested he would like to take me on? I did say that sounds nice, but didn't intend to accept. I really think we are both looking for different things, but having had some really rude treatment from guys along the way, I don't want to cause those hurt feelings for him. Just a kind way of saying I don't have the interest to pursue dating him...

What's the best way to turn him down?

If he asks you for another date, tell him the truth. The truth is always the simplest and best. Just tell him you do not think the two of you share enough interests. He sounds boring anyway. Go out with ME instead!

Personally if I'm not interested in someone I would make it very clear. Worse than rude treatment is someone who doesn't get that there's nothing there. Just say no!
